Heya! My name's Gemma, and I'm a graduate in Digital Animation. My preferred technique is 2D digital animation, although I would like to get some more experience in traditional animation too. I design characters and animate frame-by-frame. I also compose and perform music, which I use as soundtracks in animation work.

Besides animating, I love performing in stage shows. I began dancing when I was 4, reading and playing music when I was 6, acting when I was 7 and singing when I was 9. I only perform in amateur dramatics with two local drama societies, but love every moment of it.

Well, a LOT has happened since I last logged in... which apparently was in July... wow, that's embarrassing... and most recently since I finished college I've had some freelance work, but so far have had no luck getting a full-time job. I'd heard animation's a rough business to get into, and now I know why! I'm also in the process of setting up my own website at the moment.

I plan on starting online commissions in the near future (once I've uploaded some of my more recent work). Anyone interested in an animated icon?

Also I'm in a musical this week. The show's over 3 hours long, and we're doing 6 performances. It might take me a while to go through all those updates but I'll get there. Eventually. Maybe. We'll see. :D
